What to put on a dating profile examples
The sites that allow long taglines don’t always display the entire line in search results.
Sometimes only a limited number of letters gets posted on a search.
When you’re online dating, you should think of your profile as you would your résumé.
Before you finish your profile, run it through a spell checker, have someone else look it over, watch out for the red squiggle, or do whatever you have to do to make sure you’ve crossed your t’s and dotted your i’s.
Usually, you should have one or two portraits, one full-body pic, and a few action ones like of you playing a sport or dressed up for Halloween.
And, for the love of the internet, please no selfies, and definitely no bathroom selfies. Traveling, watching movies, hanging out with friends — these are all activities you’ll find in a lot of dating profiles.
It’s OK to say these things if they’re true, but if that’s all you say without adding anything specific, you won’t stand out.
